BLEU2024
Blowed by De Glasblazerij in Leerdam, Netherlands

First vase of a series of three, made in a glassblowing worskshop in Leerdam, Netherlands.
The first idea was to print a raised texture onto the glass in the middle of the vase using plaster poured into crumpled aluminium foil, while keeping the surrounding surfaces smooth.

This piece was the only one to comes out of the mould as I expected. Two other grey vases encountered problems during the process, resulting in unexpected shapes and texture.
