A performative installation that questions today’s industry and its relationship to recycling. It aims to highlight the linearity and the continuity of production chains, as well as the human/machine relationship in factories. 

We wanted to show the flaws of an industry that makes a ton of objects that are used or consumed then throwed away by the consumer to buy a new one. Parts of these objects are recycled and return to the production chain, altering little by little the primary materials.

We made a conveyor belt that drops red wine glasses direclty into a bin. The broken pieces are collected and put into other wine glasses. The process continues over and over until the bottle is empty.

This work was introduced trought a performance. Afterwards we filmed a video to show the differents steps, details of the perfomance and come along it during an exposition for the 40th years of ENSCI Les Ateliers.
